Traveling with Children, Pets, Odd-Size Luggage?

Luggage, Oversize Items, Seating Capacity.

Many people underestimate the amount of luggage they will bring on a trip. There is a certain amount of luggage that can fit inside the trunk of the vehicle. For your own safety and the safety of the driver, all luggage must fit inside the trunk of the vehicle. Luggage, placed inside the salon of the vehicle is a serious hazard in the event of an accident.

The Sedan is the most commonly requested vehicle for the Airport transfers. If you have more than 3(three) large suitcases, most likely your luggage may not fit in the trunk of a Sedan. Consider the option of upgrading to the next larger vehicle like an SUV.

The Sedan vehicle has also a limited seating capacity. Newer-Model Sedans are more narrow. The rear seat can only comfortably accommodate 2 people. If there are more than 3 people in your party, consider upgrading to an SUV.

Oversize items like Golf Bags, Skis, Surfboards, Fishing Rods, Sporting Equipment may not fit in the trunk of a Sedan. An SUV must be reserved if you are traveling with any oversized items.

Pets.

For many people, pets are a part of their family. We totally understand that. Unfortunately, due to allergic reaction pets can cause, not every driver can be in the same vehicle with them. If you are traveling with a pet we must know about it in advance. For everyone’s safety, including your pet, they must remain inside the kennel or traveling bag for the entire duration of the trip.

Little Munchkins and Car Seats.

We love children as much as you do! Our major priority is to keep them safe while they are inside one of our vehicles. The best way to do it is to keep them inside the car seat. By the State of California law, all children under the age of 8 or under 4’9″ inches in height must be driven in a car seat or booster seat. Law may vary from state to state, country to country but if you are traveling to the State of California we must obey local laws. If you wish to provide your own car seat you are more than welcome to. We offer a variety of car seats starting from newborn to booster seats. If you don’t have your own car seat, let us provide you with one. Each car seat is only an additional $20.00 to rent. The penalty is very severe if the driver gets pulled over by the police and your child is not in a car seat. The driver could be arrested and his/her driver’s license will be suspended for the child endangerment. It is your responsibility as a parent to either provide your own car seat or to rent one from us.

The Driver has a full right to decline service to anyone who is traveling with a child without a car seat.

Your lap is the most dangerous car seat. Do not try to convince the driver that your child is safe when sitting on your lap. In the event of the accident, your child can be ejected through the windshield or even killed by your own body weight. Failure to bring your own car seat or rent one from us will result in immediate termination of service and you will be billed full price. We take a child’s safety very seriously. It’s not worth the risk!
